Liverpool teammate jokes about Vinicius after Bradley locks him down in Champions League clash

Liverpool’s team spirit was clear for all to see after the Champions League win over Real Madrid — not in the dressing room, but in the comments under Conor Bradley’s Instagram post.

The young Northern Irish full-back, who excelled in the 1–0 victory at Anfield and kept Vinicius Jr quiet, captioned his post: “Enjoyed that one! Thank you Anfield ❤️.”

His performance didn’t go unnoticed.

Among the comments was fellow right-back Jeremie Frimpong, currently recovering from injury, who joked: “Talk about locking someone 👀👀.”
His playful message highlighted the growing connection between Liverpool’s right-backs.

From there, teammates piled in with their reactions — Hugo Ekitike posted “Thanks,” Ryan Gravenberch added “Too good,” Giorgi Mamardashvili dropped “🔥🔥❤️,” and Dominik Szoboszlai replied with “👏.”

Frimpong has been open about the frustration of being sidelined. In a recent TikTok, the £30m summer signing admitted: “As a footballer, it’s not a nice thing to go through… it’s really, really annoying, but it’s life.”

Even so, his public support shows the strong chemistry in this refreshed Liverpool squad.

Bradley continues to earn Arne Slot’s trust, with the manager saying before the match: “He is progressing, getting fitter and showing the potential he has.”
Those comments proved accurate — Bradley held Vinicius to one shot and just 0.03 xG (Opta Analyst), as Liverpool controlled the match throughout.

With back-to-back wins, and teammates pushing each other even through injuries, Liverpool’s right side looks well set for the future.
