Liverpool target informs Crystal Palace he wants to depart

Liverpool face competition for Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, says Christian Falk. The 25-year-old England international has informed Palace he wants to leave, with his contract nearing its end, making a summer move likely.

Bayern Munich and Tottenham are reportedly interested, while Real Madrid could also be in the mix. Falk adds that Bayern’s pursuit may hinge on Upamecano’s future, and Chelsea aren’t heavily involved despite Guehi coming through their academy.

Liverpool, who nearly signed him last summer, still see him as a priority. With Virgil van Dijk aging and Ibrahima Konate potentially leaving on a free, Guehi—already proven in the Premier League—would be an ideal addition, though several clubs are vying for his signature.
