Liverpool are waiting on medical updates after academy forward Jayden Danns limped out of the U21s’ defeat to Ipswich Town at the weekend.
The 19-year-old striker was withdrawn after half an hour of the Premier League 2 clash, with the club confirming he is being checked for a suspected hamstring injury.
Reports suggest Danns pulled up immediately following a free-kick before being replaced by Keyrol Figueroa, raising fears of another blow to Liverpool’s already-depleted forward options.
