The player ratings for Liverpool’s squad in EA FC 26 have reportedly been ‘leaked’ on social media, and there are a few surprising figures.
On September 26, UK gamers will get the chance to try out the latest edition of EA’s football series. For years, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were the highest-rated players in the game. Messi reached a peak of 94 in FIFA 12-14 and again in FIFA 16, while Ronaldo hit 94 in FIFA 17 and 19.
According to leaks for EA FC 26, the Portuguese forward, now at Al Nassr, is rated 85, while Messi, who now plays for Inter Miami, has a rating of 87.
So, who takes the top spots in EA FC 26? While official ratings haven’t been confirmed yet, two current players (excluding ICONS) share the highest rating. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé both reportedly have a rating of 91.
Following Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning 2024/25 season, Salah’s rating has risen by two points, and record-signing Florian Wirtz is rated 89, just one point below captain Virgil van Dijk, who moves up from 89 to 90.
Alisson (89), Alexis Mac Allister (87), and Ibrahima Konaté (86) round out the top six highest-rated Liverpool players.
As for the new signings, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike are both rated 83, while goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is rated 84. Milos Kerkez has a rating of 82, and Giovanni Leoni comes in at 69.
Fans quickly shared their thoughts on social media. One user said, “Wow, 86 Konaté and 85 Gravenberch are finally getting the recognition they deserve. Also nice to see 4 players rated 89+. We’ve come a long way—remember when Sturridge (83) and Firmino (82) were our highest-rated players?”
Another fan commented, “Konaté at 86? I would’ve capped him at 85. Not much of a difference, but that’s my opinion. Gravenberch should be 85, but Caicedo is 87? Gakpo should be 85, in my opinion. Szoboszlai at 83? I’d max him at 82.”
A third added, “I can’t understand some of this. Frimpong should’ve been 87 from last season and kept that this year.”
