Liverpool fans have openly shared their opinions on Jeremie Frimpong following his Anfield debut against Athletic Bilbao on Monday. The Reds supporters were treated to plenty of action as the Premier League champions faced the La Liga side twice in quick succession, winning 4-1 and 3-2.
Both matches featured completely different line-ups, with Frimpong starting in the second game after Conor Bradley was sidelined due to injury, potentially affecting his season start. This gave Frimpong a prime opportunity to make a strong impression at right-back—and fans responded to his first performance at Merseyside.

Despite the challenge, Frimpong held his ground well. In 72 minutes, he recorded one block and clearance, two tackles, and was never dribbled past. He also won four out of seven ground duels. Beyond the stats, many praised his constant pressure on Williams, who struggled to make an impact.
