Rodrygo has already revealed to Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea which team he hopes to join next season.

Rodrygo has reportedly already decided which Premier League team he’d like to join if he ends up leaving Real Madrid this summer.

Following Xabi Alonso’s appointment as Real Madrid’s new manager—replacing Carlo Ancelotti—the club has undergone significant changes. Just days into his new role, Alonso finalized the signings of three major players: Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen, and River Plate prospect Franco Mastantuono.

However, it’s not just about new arrivals. Alonso is also expected to make some tough decisions, potentially offloading certain players as he reshapes the squad.

Among those who might be on the chopping block is winger Rodrygo, who is reportedly growing discontented with his situation at the club. He has already identified his preferred Premier League destination if he’s sold this summer.

During the current Club World Cup, Alonso has left Rodrygo out of all but one match, sparking speculation that the Brazilian is contemplating an exit. Since then, Rodrygo has been linked with several English clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea—all of whom are actively targeting attacking reinforcements ahead of the upcoming season.

According to Diario AS, Rodrygo has expressed a strong preference for joining Arsenal, should he depart Madrid. The Gunners are reportedly willing to bid around €90 million for him, viewing him as a potential replacement for Gabriel Martinelli.

However, Arsenal is also close to finalizing a deal for Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, raising questions about whether their interest in Rodrygo remains as strong.

Xabi Alonso, meanwhile, has remained vague on Rodrygo’s future. After Madrid’s 4-0 defeat to PSG, he commented: “No decisions have been made regarding the future. We haven’t rotated much during the Club World Cup, but the context will change going forward.”
