Tottenham Among Premier League Clubs Eyeing Harvey Elliott Transfer
Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League sides considering a move for Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott this summer. The 22-year-old is reportedly open to a potential exit from Anfield following the arrival of Florian Wirtz, who is expected to play a major role under new Liverpool manager Arne Slot.
Although Elliott has impressed during his time on the pitch for Liverpool, his appearances have been limited due to strong competition for midfield places. With Wirtz now joining from Bayer Leverkusen, Elliott is reassessing his future at the club and whether a transfer would benefit his development.
According to TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey, Spurs have made a formal enquiry about Elliott’s availability, sensing an opportunity to sign the talented midfielder as Liverpool look to restructure their squad.
Elliott, who has two years left on his current deal, is believed to have accepted that his chances of regular starts may decrease. Liverpool are reportedly open to offers above £40 million for the England U21 international.
Tottenham’s new manager, Thomas Frank, is said to value Elliott’s energy, pressing ability, and creativity—qualities that could strengthen his squad.
Interest in Elliott is widespread. Former club Fulham are said to be keen on bringing him back, while Newcastle United, Everton, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Brentford, and West Ham are all tracking the situation. Chelsea, fresh off a Conference League win, are also monitoring developments closely, as are Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
If Spurs want to win the race for Elliott, they may need to act swiftly to beat their domestic and European rivals to his signature.
