Meanwhile, Sky Sports also reports that Liverpool have already identified a potential successor in Lyon winger Malick Fofana. The club’s chief scout, Barry Hunter, is said to be a strong admirer of the 20-year-old Belgian, and Liverpool are considering a move that could cost around £43 million.
Fofana is regarded as a highly promising talent who could inject pace and unpredictability into the squad—qualities the team currently lacks in wide areas. With Liverpool heavily reliant on Mohamed Salah and Luis Díaz, bolstering their options out wide is a priority.
