Former Liverpool defender outlines what Igor Tudor must do to regain Spurs players’ trust after losing the dressing room

Igor Tudor appears to be running out of time at Tottenham Hotspur after only taking charge last month.

Tottenham’s leadership have made several questionable decisions this season, and those choices have had a damaging impact on the club’s Premier League campaign. The North London side currently find themselves stuck in the bottom half of the table and are involved in a worrying relegation battle. With a difficult run of fixtures ahead, the situation is far from ideal for Spurs.

Since arriving at N17, Tudor has struggled to improve matters and, if anything, the team’s form has worsened. There is increasing belief that Tottenham may have made the wrong call by appointing Tudor as the replacement for Thomas Frank in the middle of the season. The 47-year-old manager seems to be running out of solutions as he attempts to turn things around at the club.

Former defender and pundit Stephen Warnock believes Tudor is struggling to find answers and warned that the manager could be dismissed if Tottenham lose their upcoming match against Liverpool F.C..

Speaking on Match of the Day, Warnock said Tudor must quickly find a working formula within the squad. He suggested the players do not appear fully convinced by the manager and that the leadership and tactical approach currently in place may not be strong enough.
Warnock added that if Spurs suffer another defeat against Liverpool, the club may not allow Tudor to remain in charge for their next game against Nottingham Forest F.C.. Although he admitted he dislikes discussing managerial sackings, he made it clear that he does not believe Tudor has the ability to guide Tottenham out of the relegation zone.

With the team struggling and confidence fading, time may be running out for Tudor at Hotspur Way. His spell in charge has so far done little to improve the club’s situation, and Tottenham’s hierarchy may soon have to decide whether a managerial change is needed to avoid the threat of relegation.
