Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has weighed in on the club’s precarious position, naming two familiar figures he believes could help steer the team clear of relegation if changes are made.

Despite recently appointing Igor Tudor, Tottenham’s struggles under the Croatian manager might force the club to rethink their approach. Relegation is now a real possibility, with Spurs just one point above 18th-placed West Ham United. A single defeat, combined with wins for West Ham and Nottingham Forest, could see Tottenham drop into the relegation zone. Tudor must reverse the slide, but his position may come under threat if results do not improve.

Redknapp highlighted Tim Sherwood and Glenn Hoddle as potential options to steady the ship, telling TalkSPORT: “Tim would be a good shout now… someone like Tim or Glenn Hoddle, even.” When asked if he would consider returning himself, Redknapp admitted: “Yeah, I’d do it for sure. I mean, I don’t see myself getting it, to be truthful.”

Both Sherwood and Hoddle know the club inside out and could help rebuild confidence among the current squad. Tottenham could follow a model seen at other clubs, such as Manchester United, which appointed former player
Michael Carrick as manager with positive effect. Sherwood has expressed interest in an interim role, while Hoddle is also open to returning to help Spurs amid their ongoing struggles.
