The defeat frustrated Liverpool’s fanbase, with many directing their anger at Virgil van Dijk for his part in conceding the opener.

They risk slipping to sixth place if Chelsea defeat Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Next up, the Reds head back to Molineux on Friday for an FA Cup fifth-round clash, before turning to their Champions League fixture against Galatasaray on March 10.
They resume league duties on March 15 with a home game against Tottenham.
