Alexis Mac Allister remains “very happy” at Liverpool, despite reported interest from Real Madrid, according to his father and agent.

Mac Allister had reportedly been on Carlo Ancelotti’s radar before the coach left Madrid last May, and he is now seen as a more realistic target for the Spanish club compared to their preferred—but financially challenging—choices, Vitinha and Enzo Fernández. Carlos Mac Allister told winwin: “At the moment, Alexis is fully focused on Liverpool and the current season. He’s very happy and comfortable at the club.”

Earlier reports suggested that Real Madrid didn’t actively pursue a deal for Mac Allister, though they did receive encouraging signals from his camp.
