Trent Alexander-Arnold sparks Liverpool fury with brief three-word reaction to announcement

 

 

Liverpool may soon face a challenge in keeping hold of one of its brightest academy talents, with one young star already following in the footsteps of Trent Alexander-Arnold. The right-back has been the most notable graduate from Anfield in recent years, playing a key role in the club’s successes under Jurgen Klopp and establishing himself as one of the world’s top players before his move to Real Madrid last summer.

Other Liverpool players could also be on the radar of the Spanish giants. Ibrahima Konate has been linked with a move to Madrid, although reports suggest Real’s interest may have cooled. Meanwhile, one Liverpool teenager is already attracting attention from La Liga.

Joshua Abe, a winger who turned 15 last July, has emerged as one of Liverpool’s most exciting prospects. Although he cannot sign professional terms until next year, he has joined PLG Agency, run by Tyler Alexander-Arnold, brother of Trent. The agency represents several high-profile players, including Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson, and West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen.

In response to PLG welcoming Abe on Instagram, Alexander-Arnold commented: “Never in doubt,” alongside a handshake emoji.

Abe’s move to formal representation comes after a trip to Madrid last month, where he was pictured with Alexander-Arnold and his brother on the Bernabéu pitch following Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Sevilla. He was also photographed with Vinicius Jr., receiving a signed jersey, and with Jude Bellingham, fueling speculation that Real could be looking to lure him to Spain.

According to This Is Anfield, Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Abe, meaning Liverpool may face strong competition to secure his long-term future.

Primarily a right-winger, Abe can play across the attacking line and has already impressed with Liverpool’s U18s. He made his debut in September and has since appeared six times for Simon Wiles’ side, scoring and assisting against Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.

Abe joined Liverpool as an U9 player in 2018, welcomed by Alexander-Arnold himself. He has since represented England at U15 and U16 levels.
