Tottenham may be able to secure Jarrod Bowen for around £65m, with a West Ham departure looking increasingly likely.

Tottenham have once again been urged to step up their interest in West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen. The England international has long been linked with a move to Spurs after cementing his reputation as one of the Premier League’s most reliable performers at the London Stadium. That interest has gathered momentum again this season, with head coach Thomas Frank known to be a long-standing admirer, having come up against Bowen many times during his managerial career. Bowen has also spoken warmly about Frank in the past, comments that have only added fuel to the transfer rumours.

With questions hanging over West Ham’s future, Spurs could now be well placed to finally make a serious move. Calls for Tottenham to sign Bowen have persisted for months — even years — but a deal has never materialised. It remains something of a mystery why the forward has stayed, particularly amid West Ham’s recent struggles. Speaking to Tottenham News, King said he would not pursue Lucas Paquetá, suggesting the Brazilian brings complications, and instead argued that Bowen would be an ideal fit for Spurs. King claimed West Ham could demand around £65m, but felt that fee would secure a top-class player, adding that Bowen would suit Tottenham better than Dominic Solanke or Richarlison while potentially costing roughly half as much.

Despite being a fan favourite at West Ham, King believes Bowen would be unlikely to remain if the club were relegated. He also highlighted the winger’s consistency and threat even within a struggling side, insisting Bowen should be Tottenham’s top choice if they are seeking attacking reinforcements.

Spurs have also been linked with Paquetá in recent days, with the Brazilian widely expected to leave West Ham. Potential destinations have included Tottenham, Flamengo and several Serie A clubs, though a move to Italy now seems the most probable outcome.

Paquetá’s possible exit could actually open the door for Spurs. If West Ham are prepared to part with one key player, it may signal a willingness from owner David Sullivan to negotiate — providing Tottenham with the ideal opportunity to test the waters with a bid for Bowen.
