“Liverpool set to discuss Ryan Gravenberch’s contract as another key deal becomes priority”

Paul Joyce reports that Liverpool are preparing to hold contract discussions with Ryan Gravenberch, whose current deal runs until the summer of 2028.
It’s also reported that Hungarian international Dominik Szoboszlai is on the club’s radar, at least to some degree, with Liverpool considering him a priority for a potential contract extension. Given Szoboszlai’s performances, this attention is well justified.
Gravenberch, the former Bayern Munich midfielder, has arguably been Liverpool’s standout performer this season. According to Fotmob, he tops the club’s Premier League ratings for 2025/26, with an average score of 7.48, ahead of Szoboszlai (7.39) and Cody Gakpo (7.26).
Szoboszlai has also been impressively consistent, only dipping below a 7/10 rating once in his last nine appearances across all competitions, making him another key figure for Liverpool to secure ahead of the summer.
