Yet, some fans remained unimpressed with the overall performance.

Earlier this season, Kolo Muani had impressed in the Champions League by scoring twice and providing an assist in Tottenham’s 5-3 loss to PSG, his parent club. That game has remained the high point of his loan spell, which has otherwise been underwhelming.

In domestic competitions, Kolo Muani is yet to score this season and has only started nine Premier League matches, partly due to injury setbacks. On Sunday against Crystal Palace, he was deployed on the left wing but drew criticism from fans for appearing lethargic and lacking drive. During the game, he registered just 26 touches, failed to complete a single dribble, and did not take a shot.

Supporters took to X to express their disappointment, with one suggesting his loan should be cut short in January and another calling his display “atrocious.” Some fans even remarked that they had “never seen a player look so disinterested” and labelled him as someone who “doesn’t want to be here.”
