Jürgen Klopp signals he may be open to a managerial return — but only if a key condition is met.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering Jürgen Klopp as a potential future head coach.

Xabi Alonso has struggled to fully meet expectations so far, prompting the club to quietly assess other options. While speculation is growing about his future, many believe the club should remain patient and allow Alonso time—at least until the season’s end—to truly show what he is capable of. He remains a highly regarded young coach with significant long-term potential.

According to Fichajes, Klopp would be willing to take charge at the Bernabéu, but only under clear conditions. The former Liverpool boss is said to be demanding full authority over transfers, along with a substantial squad revamp once the campaign concludes.

Whether Real Madrid would agree to such terms remains uncertain. Klopp is widely viewed as a once-in-a-generation coach, having achieved elite success in both Germany and England, and there is little doubt he could elevate Madrid back to the summit of European football. However, he is currently on a break from club management and has previously suggested he may not return to the club game. Links with the German national team and a possible future role at Liverpool have also persisted.

For now, any immediate change appears unlikely. Despite an inconsistent start, Real Madrid are expected to continue backing Alonso and give him the opportunity to see out the season before making any decisive moves.
