With reports suggesting final tickets could exceed £3,000 — and fans potentially spending up to £6,000 if England progress deep into the tournament — Carragher implied the prices were indefensible. Ferdinand responded lightly, posting fishing rod emojis to suggest he had successfully baited Carragher into reacting.
