Liverpool fans point the finger at one player after shocking collapse against Leeds.

Liverpool fans have run out of patience with a particular player after the team surrendered a two-goal advantage and drew 3-3 with Leeds United.
The Premier League champions travelled to Elland Road on Saturday needing a big response following their 1-1 draw with Sunderland earlier in the week. For much of the match, it looked like they would get it — Liverpool controlled the ball and summer signing Hugo Ekitike made it 2-0 shortly after the restart.
But they couldn’t hold on. Leeds fought back to claim a 3-3 draw, and supporters pointed fingers at one man in particular.
Several players have underperformed this season, but Ibrahima Konate has attracted more criticism than most. Despite being linked with top clubs like Real Madrid and PSG in the summer, he has delivered a number of disappointing displays.
Fans felt his showing on Saturday was yet another poor outing. One wrote on X: “This result is on Konate. Simple.” Another said: “We were coasting to three points until agent Konate decided to overthink things — might as well terminate his contract.” A third added angrily: “We win that game if Konate doesn’t give away that penalty. That’s him all over — always making a needless, stupid decision.”
