Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy could be on the move this January, according to TEAMtalk. The 29-year-old, known for his goal-scoring prowess, has a release clause in his contract that has already attracted interest from several top European clubs.
Guirassy has been one of Europe’s most consistent finishers over the last two seasons, scoring 7 goals in 15 appearances this season and 38 in 50 matches last season.
With his release clause expected to be activated in January, clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Manchester United are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing him.
Liverpool are seeking depth behind Alexander Isak, who is struggling with fitness.
Arsenal want an experienced striker to compete with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, though Viktor Gyokeres remains their first-choice forward.
Manchester City are looking for rotational cover behind Erling Haaland for a long campaign.
Chelsea see Guirassy as a short-term solution to their centre-forward issues.
Manchester United’s interest is conditional, as signing a new striker could limit minutes for summer signing Benjamin Sesko, affecting his development.
Adding another twist, transfer expert Nicolo Schira reports that a Saudi Arabian club is ready to offer Guirassy a three-year deal worth €20 million per season. Despite the lucrative package, Guirassy is believed to prefer staying in Europe’s top leagues.
