Their latest defeat—a 3-0 home loss to Crystal Palace—has intensified scrutiny of Slot’s leadership, just months after he led the Reds to their first league title since 2020.
According to BBC Sport, Liverpool’s hierarchy remains united and calm, insisting there is “no chance” Slot’s future will be reconsidered at this point.
Recent weeks have seen tension rise at Anfield due to Liverpool’s worrying dip in form. Following a promising start to the season, the champions have now lost four league matches in a row, falling to seventh in the table, seven points behind leaders Arsenal. The Carabao Cup exit to Palace, marking the team’s sixth defeat in seven games, has only fueled concerns among supporters about inconsistency and a lack of direction.
Slot, who joined from Feyenoord in the summer of 2024, earned praise for revitalizing a squad in transition and delivering a historic league title in his first season.
