Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has sparked speculation after removing all mentions of the club from his X (formerly Twitter) profile.

The Egyptian star, who was benched by manager Arne Slot during Liverpool’s 5-1 Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt, has long been considered an automatic starter. However, his recent dip in form appears to have prompted Slot to make bold selection choices, leaving Salah out of key matches.

In response, Salah has seemingly edited his social media presence — replacing references to Liverpool with a photo featuring his family — a move that has raised questions about his future at Anfield.

At 33, the winger may be showing signs of decline. Despite an incredible campaign last season — netting 34 goals and 23 assists to help Liverpool lift the Premier League title — he has struggled to replicate that form, managing only three goals and three assists this term.

While those numbers aren’t poor, they fall short of his typically elite standards. If Salah continues to find himself out of the starting lineup and frustration builds, a January exit might not be out of the question — even though he only signed a new two-year contract in April.
