Rio Ngumoha inks his first professional deal with Liverpool FC.

Rio Ngumoha has signed his first professional contract with Liverpool FC.

The forward, who joined the Academy in September 2024 after previously being with Chelsea, has made five appearances for Liverpool’s senior team so far — including his latest outing in Tuesday’s 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Southampton.

Ngumoha scored a decisive 100th-minute goal in a 3-2 win at Newcastle United last month, marking his Premier League debut.

A few weeks later, the England U19 international made his first appearance in European competition, coming off the bench in a Champions League win against Atletico Madrid at Anfield.

During the 2024-25 season, Ngumoha played for Liverpool’s U18, U19, and U21 teams and made his senior debut under Arne Slot in an Emirates FA Cup match against Accrington Stanley in January.
