Report: Liverpool is strongly determined to sign the 28-year-old South American player who is also being watched by Manchester United.

Liverpool are showing interest in acquiring Gleison Bremer from Juventus, but the Italian club is reluctant to let him go.

According to TuttoJuve, Manchester United are also contenders in the race for Bremer. Liverpool are eager to sign the 28-year-old Brazilian defender due to Giovanni Leoni’s ACL injury, which will keep him out for several months. Additionally, Ibrahima Konate is set to leave at the end of the season, prompting Liverpool to reinforce their defense. They have also been linked with Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.

Bringing in both Bremer and Guehi would be a strong boost for Liverpool. The Premier League champions need to strengthen their defensive options, and both players possess the quality to perform at a high level. However, Juventus considers Bremer a key player and currently has no intention of selling him.

Still, Liverpool have the financial capacity to offer a substantial fee, so it will be intriguing to see how negotiations progress.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are also interested in Bremer as they search for a long-term replacement for Harry Maguire. With his experience and skill, Bremer could be a perfect fit for a club of United’s stature and make an immediate impact.

At the peak of his career, a move to the Premier League could be an ideal challenge for Bremer.

The coming months will reveal which club—Liverpool or Manchester United—manages to strike a deal with Juventus.
